Social Studies: Information about Market Day is coming home in Friday folders.
The unit assessment will be a Second Grade Community Store. We are calling this event Market Day. Students will earn money for doing their "job." I will be their "boss" and I will financially reward them for things such as completing assignments, being prepared, and showing they are ready to learn. They will spend next week making items for their store.

Market Day will be held on Friday in the church basement.Please help your child think of something they could sell to customers. You do not need to spend money on this project but you can if you would like. Some ideas include: artwork, bracelets, origami pieces, headbands, paper snowflakes, old books.

Six Flags Reading Program - This is an optional reading program to earn a free ticket to Six Flags. Please return forms by Feb 23rd.
