Field Trip/ Harvest Party/Service Project

Our class family prays together, learns together, works together, and parties together!
We had an amazing day today, but many people put a lot of work into it before it even started:
Our class (parents included) have been working on prepping our school grounds for a lawn make over! We love recess! So, our class wanted to be a part of taking care of our recess area. We picked up rocks for two days that covered the area, last night second grade dads filled in all the holes with dirt, and today we put down grass seed.

A HUGE thanks Matt Aslin, Doug Ayers, Tom Flick, Bryan Fuhr, and Chris Bertel for their help Tuesday night!

We didn't just work in the dirt today; we also enjoyed a fun morning learning about art at the Art Museum.

We had a great time at our Harvest party! We made placemats for Meals on Wheels, played games, and ate pizza and cookies.

We finished our service project up today with the help of Mr. Aslin, Mrs. Buehrle, Mr. Buehrle (Braden's uncle), Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Flick, Mrs. Kainady, Mrs. Liebman, Mrs. Lorenz, and Mrs. Westerhold!
