Social Studies: Ch. 7 and Ch. 8- Market Day Friday, March 3rd
Students will kick Market Day into high gear by working on signs and commercials. Students will receive a checklist and rubric to help them prepare for their commercial. All of this will be done in class. We will begin recording commercials on Tuesday. Students can start bringing in their items on Tuesday to use in their commercials. Items should be made at home prior to Tuesday. Your student has until Thursday night to finish making anything needed for their Market Day booth. All items must be at school and ready to go on Friday morning.
Students will be earning "money" to use during market day as they work through their "job" which is being a good student. They will use the money I have given them and the money they earn at their booth to buy things at our Market. All items bought/sold will be taken home by the customer. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Important Information/Reminders:
Thank you Bobcat Nation! You have once again shown your generosity and  compassion for others in a huge way. We have had another record breaking year raising money for the American Heart Association. Our goal for the year was $12,000.00 but we actually raised over $16,400.00. Students turned in donations ranging from $5.00 to $1,500.00. Each donation made a difference and together our donations will make a huge difference right here in Missouri. Thank you Bobcats! Thank you volunteers who helped with our events! Thank you Lord for your endless blessings!

If you have not already done so, please return the Painted Pot field trip permission slip and the Grandparents Day dismissal form.
