Science: We are going back to Ch. 6 Lesson 2 to learn more about soil. This will tie in with our field trip on May 1st to the Botanical Gardens where we will attend a class called, "Soil from the ground up!". If you have not already done so, please return the permission slip and see the attached form for more information.

*April 24th-28th Early Learning Program through Second Grade Students are invited to celebrate The Week of the Young Child!
If students in Kindergarten through Second Grade
decide not to participate,
he or she should wear the regular standardized dress.

4/25 Dress in your favorite athletic clothes or sports attire with or without jeans!
4/26 Wear your favorite Zion Spirit Wear and Jeans! We are All for One!
4/27 Mis-Match and Jean Day! Your outfit doesn’t have to match!
4/28 Pajama Day with or without jeans!
We are continuing to practice for the spring musical. Things are going well. A few things to keep in mind as the date gets closer (May 5th at 6:00 p.m.)
*Dress for the night of performance will be khaki bottoms (pants, shorts, or skirt). Please have your child wear a t-shirt that night, as we will give them a shirt to wear for the performance.
*Drop off your child at 5:45 in the church basement on the night of the performance.
Reflecting on our week:
