Meet SPRK+! He is our new robot! Starting next quarter Mrs. Helmkamp will be working with small groups of students in the STEM lab once a week. Students will use CodeSnap to learn how to make our robot perform certain tasks. I am excited about this new proposal to introduce students to coding and I can't wait to hear what they think of it! Reflecting on our week:

Students had fun learning a snappy song about erosion.

Gathering hands-on information to help us become better writers. We are writing to inform about pumpkins and in order to do so, we needed to get gather some first-hand sensory information.

This week in Faith Family Prayer time we learned about the give Him 5 program.  We are challenged to spend 5 minutes a day praying to Jesus.  We use the word FAITH to help lead our time.
F-focus on Jesus and find a quiet place to be
A-ask Jesus to be with you
I-tell Him what is important to you
T-thank Him
H-ask for His help
Please visit the website www.givehim5.net for more information or if your family would like to participate.
