Kelly Sinovich (Niko's mom) is taking the lead on our fall service project! She has come up with the awesome idea to donate used Halloween costumes (from younger and older siblings as well) to a local children's home. Mrs. Sinovich will send out an email to everyone with more information!
Our first field trip to the Art Museum is coming up on October 15th! Permission slips will come home on Monday. We need two adults to go with us. The class will be divided into 2 groups.
Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up on October 16th. Students will have no school on 10/16th and 10/17th.
Reflecting on our week: This week we started prayer partners. Students meet a few mornings each week to talk and listen to their partner's prayer requests. The students keep a prayer journal and write down each others praises and concerns. Before returning to their seats the students pray with each other.
During Social Studies we became community planners and developed Urban, Suburban, and Rural communities.
We started using AdaptedMind-Math to differentiate math needs in our classroom.
