Parent Teacher Conference forms will come home Friday. We did our best to work around everyones schedules and families with multiple children. Please sign and return the bottom half of the form so I can plan accordingly. If you can not make it at the arranged time please let me know.

Muffins for Moms is set for Wednesday morning, November 5th.  Moms meet in the church basement between 7 and 7:45 AM to enjoy a donut and some coffee or juice with your child(ren).  Everyone is invited to stay for chapel if you can.  What a great time to spend time with the kids before they go off to school!!

Reflecting on our week:
The power of persuasion is AMAZING! Our mini lesson in reading was on Author's Purpose (Persuade, Inform, or Entertain). The students were lined up to try my yummy ketchup and mustard chip dip after I persuaded them with a childhood story.

We spent time this week learning about types of matter. To gain a better understanding of properties we looked at 4 different types of crackers.
We used a balance to gain some hands on experience understanding mass. The children enjoy working with real objects to better understand new vocabulary words.
