Reflecting on our week:
We had a special chapel service on Thursday. The students knew that it must be a special day if our regular Wednesday chapel service was moved!
The Great Commission and Ascension:
The students learned that the great commission is like a job description. It tells us what is expected of us.
" Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”              Matthew 28:19-20

Our discussion was followed by a fun visual aid that helped us see the impact of telling others that Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead. Ask your child about it!
