Important Information/Reminders:
Our schedule will be different during the month of December as we add Advent practice into the mix of our day.

Reflecting on our week:
On Monday we worked with our preschool friends. We taught them about our adopted dairy cow, Lily. Students shared an information book, watched a short video, and created a cow hutch (fancy name for a calf house). Students worked in pairs to plan and create a house for their cow models (recycled fruit cups turned into cows). It was awesome to see second graders teaching, helping, and compromising with their young partners. These social skills are important to develop at a young age. These are the "soft skills" companies are looking for in young adults today. It is imperative that we take time to build, shape, and foster opportunities to grow tomorrow's leaders.
