Dec. 19th-Dec. 22nd:
Students did a wonderful job delivering the advent message on Wednesday. The service was recorded from the balcony and below is the link to view the private Youtube channel recording. Feel free to share this link with family members. The video is unlisted, so you must have the link in order to watch it.

All Aboard for the Polar Express!!!!!!
On Wednesday second grade will have their annual trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express! Please send your child to school in their pjs. They need to wear tennis shoes to school, but they may bring slippers to change into and one stuffed animal to share their day with. See the parent note that was sent home in Friday folders.
Thursday:
Thursday school will be dismissed at 12. We have an 8th grade chapel service and our Christmas party in the morning!
Reading over Christmas Break: Over Christmas break some children slide in their progress from the beginning of the year. Some children recover quickly, after a couple of days back, while others take a couple of weeks to get back to where they were before break. I have challenged students to read two small chapter books over Christmas break. I have enticed them with a small surprise for anyone who takes this challenge. Please let me know if you have any questions.
