During the month of January, our offerings will support the mission work in Cambodia which is organized by Lutheran Hour Ministries. Students in grades K-4 brought home change boxes on Tuesday to collect their offerings this month. During National Lutheran Schools Week, students can bring these change boxes to chapel on Wednesday, January 24th. Through our offerings, we can help spread the word of Christ across the world!

Reflecting on our week: Students learned how to weave this week. We not only learned a new skill but we practiced fine motor skills, practiced focusing our attention, and we also learned how calming it can be to work with our hands and focus on our work. I was EXTREMELY impressed with how well the students were able to focus their attention. In order to help increase attention span and ability to focus, students are provided supported practice building these skills.
