This is usually a tricky chapter for students. Watch for study guides coming home (1/31/18- the first guide will be sent home). We will take about 2 weeks to go through the labs and lessons for these concepts. The first quiz will be on Friday (Ch.10 L1). It will be a short quiz of only three questions to make sure students have the basic idea.

Reflecting on our week: 

PJ day was AWESOME!

We had a STEAM challenge that helped us focus our thoughts on properties of matter and discovering the strongest shape to use when building a structure.

Chapel with our buddy class (Mr. Braddy) was a lot of fun.

While using bubble solution to think about both liquids and gases, students were given another STEAM challenge: to use pipe cleaners and straws to make a bubble wand.
