Math: Test Thursday
We are continuing to work on the speed of our subtraction facts. The 25 problem assessments are timed. Students should complete 25 subtraction facts in 2 1/2 minutes. As of now, the 70 + problem fact assessments are not times. Each week 10 additional problems are added to the test. This assessment will be timed once students have had a couple of weeks practicing all 100 problem fact sheets.

Science/Social Studies:

The long awaited Market Day will be held on Tuesday, March 6th.

Market Day is Tuesday, March 6th! Don't forget to send in your items!

We go to The Painted Pot on Thursday, March 8th! Please make sure to send in booster seats if your child is required by law to use one. Our parent drivers will be Mrs. Walgate, Mrs. Quagliata, Mrs. Mierek, Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Kainady, Mrs. Groves, and Mr. Cooseman. We will leave at 12:15 and should arrive back around 1:45.

Grandparents’/Special Friends’ Day is Friday, March 9th from 8:00-11:00.  

Please plan on having a grandparent or special guest attend.  Your child must have an adult present.
Forms were sent home last week. Please let me know if you didn't receive it. I am still missing a few forms.

Zion Bobcats excel in generosity once again! Our students and their supportive families and friends have raised over eighteen thousand dollars this year for the life saving work of the American Heart Association. Thank you students for your outstanding job and thank you volunteers for helping our events run smoothly. God has truly blessed our Zion community with a spirit of generosity.

The Zion Lutheran Cheer Squad is hosting a Cheer Clinic on Friday, March 23 from 3-6:00 in the Zion Lutheran Gym. 

We will begin with a fun warm-up and then divide the girls into age groups where participants will learn age-appropriate
stunts, cheers, and correct cheer techniques.  Participants will perform for parents, grandparents, and friends at 5:45 in the
gym.  Each participant will receive a Zion Lutheran Cheer t-shirt.  Registration is due by Wednesday, March 14 and you
can turn the form in at the School Office.

Reflecting on our week: Zion's Auction is coming up and we finally finished our class project that will be available for bidding! Thank you to Mrs. Quagliata for helping us create this awesome project! The birds were designed and handpainted by each student. It turned out so beautiful!
