Stop Motion- Black History Month

Students used an app to practice retell and summarizing of famous Americans who made a difference in history. During Balck History month students learned about Rosa Parks, George Washington Carver, Martin Luther King Jr., and Harriet Tubman by reading books, watching video clips, and through discussions. Students were asked to pick one American hero and create a Stop Motion movie showing what they learned. Students were also able to incorporate and revisit additional literacy skills such as setting and character traits through this assignment. They did a fantastic job! We hope you enjoy them!
