Chapter 5 - Land and Water
Our chapter is divided into 3 lessons. This chapter we will have three smaller tests (one over each lesson) instead of one large test over all three lessons. This is something different I am trying so please feel free to give me feedback. I would like to see if testing over smaller chunks of information is more helpful for some students. The science book will come home everyday for students to read and study. You are welcome to count this reading time toward their required reading min.

Reflecting on our week:
We had fun learning about Mood and Tone this week. What if the tone of the movie Frozen was dark and scary? How would that have changed our mood about the movie? We watched this short clip and discussed how an author's tone effects our mood while reading or watching a movie.
We listened to different types of music and drew pictures to demonstrate how it effected our mood.
