Zion Open House Jan. 25th - Postcards are coming home in Friday Folders for our annual Zion Open House. Pass this postcard on to someone who is looking for a school family. Zion parents will show guests around and share their Zion experience. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions families may have about how we educate tomorrow's Christian leaders.

Dress Up Day Descriptions:

Monday: P.J. Day
Wear pajamas/sweats
May bring one stuffed animal/pillow
May wear slippers (bring change of shoes for outside)

Tuesday: Wacky-Tacky Day
Mix it up with mismatched clothes
Jeans optional

Wednesday: Western Day
 Dress up like a cowboy/girl 
plaid, cowboy hat, cowboy boots, bandanas, etc. • Jeans optional 

Thursday: Spirit Day
Show your Zion spirit – Red, White, and Black
Jeans optional

Friday: Fairytale/Superhero Day
Dress up like a fairytale or superhero character
Jeans optional

**Students either chose to participate, or wear regular dress code. 

Second Grade Sings- Sunday, January 25th at 11:00 second grade will sing to help kick off NLSW.

Trivia Night is Right Around the Corner!
Mark your calendar now - Sat. Feb 7, 2015 at the Stegton Banquet Center will be Zion's annual Trivia Night. Talk to your friends and family over the holidays and gather your tables now. You won't want to miss out on this exciting night!

LOVE AND LOGIC CLASS-
Love and Logic helps:

  • People see that they can enjoy healthy, happy relationships
It is not too late  to join the Bible Class on Love and Logic.  
Due to the class size we will be meeting in the Family Life Center (lower level of the church, the glassed in room).

Reflecting on our week:
We started studying the artistic works of Alexander Calder this week. We noticed his use of color, lines, and shapes to convey movement. Next week will look at his circus sculptures and try making a circus of our own.
