Reflecting on our week: Have you ever heard that phrase or lyric, "I saw God today."? It really doesn't take much effort on our part to see God, since everything is from God and is God's. But today I saw God's light shine so incredibly bright in a group of young ladies that the above phrase/lyric was the first things that came to mind. The love of Jesus was demonstrated and played out to perfection on the playground. A group of students had a disagreement in the Bobcat pit and one student took the time to follow up with an upset friend. She sat with her upset classmate and ACTUALLY LISTENED to her thoughts and feelings about the situation. I saw them talk it out and then hug. Peers followed her lead and the issue was solved without my involvement, in a shorter amount of time, and ended with hugs and smiles. I saw the love of God shine bright in my students and it made my heart full!
Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”   John 13:34-35.

We meet as a Faith Family once a month to pray and do an activity.  During the prayer time this year, we have been focusing on spending 5 minutes each day praying.  Our activity this month was based on 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Be Thankful in ALL Circumstances.  We wrote thank you notes to the many volunteers that help our school.  We ended our time celebrating baptism birthdays for May and June.
We look forward to our last Faith Family event, FIELD DAY!
